Well I must say that the Fremont All-Star Show was a great night.  Mothers were serenaded, minors abused, and teeth were put to guitar strings.  Many people crowded into TosT that evening and were treated to quite the musical display.  To the young lads of 20 Riverside, I say good show gentlemen.  You truly exemplified the spirit of the Rootdown.  A special thanks to all that attended.  We are bulding this night piece by piece into an action packed extravaganza.

In other exciting news.........Lazybones is proud to announce that they will be playing this year's Folklife Festival.  For now we are playing on the Fountain Lawn stage on Monday May 25th @7:00pm.  This is subject to change but we will be playing the festival regardless.

Ja is back and all is well in the universe.  A new album is in the works.  The future is bright for Lazybones.  Let's make this the best year ever.

March 25, 2009 Zihuatenejo, Mexico

I write this sitting above Playa la Ropa and listenening to the waves hitting the beach...and the sounds of screetching gringo children running around un-leashed.  Someday in the beautiful future there will be severe monetary fines and perhaps a public flogging if parents allow their kids loose on the town.  But this in not the time to discuss.

Its good to hear that the "Jihad" has begun.  Vicious cats everywhere, no escape.  Also, its nice to see that the gauntlet has been officially thrown down by our friend Bictor.  Perhaps not the most "diplomatic" manifestos ever written, but these are strange times people.  Remember that we just got out from under 8 years of "Texan rule";  the wave has crested and mediocrity will soon be dashed against the rocks.

Its too bad I can't make it to the show on Friday, but duty calls in the form of tequila and lime with the chodes in the surf.

It's been 3 days at the palace of Ja and Lizbot and I think I have begun to gain the trust of the felines.  Appearently their trust does not extend much farther than the hand that fills their food dish.  Soon I will have them under my control and then I will recondition them to do my bidding.  Once they're in line my cat army will be complete and world domination can begin.  I've placed feline operatives in millions of homes across America, and when I give the word they will overthrow their masters.  HA hahahahahah.  It's purrfect!  Also I hear Lazybones is having their own overthrow of power.  This Friday they will put Tost under their control and dictate all goings on for the rest of the evening.  I hear that they have secured a full scale, and fully functional, Jimi Hendrix replica clone to play at their event.  This will be truly be something to behold.

Hempfest!!!!! Your are now officially on notice.  Rejection of Lazybones to play your festival was not a wise decision.  I officially place a curse on your festival.  As a maijuana advocate I must say that members of your selection commitee must of been smoking something other than weed when they made this decision.  I hope that poison frogs rain down upon you and cause chaos so massive that this never happens again.  We have tried the nice guy approach for too long and now it's time to even the score.  May all other festivals know the horrible effects of not having Lazybones play.

Wow I didn't know that the Verizon guy was also the owner of Tost.  It was a great night of music and I didn't hear one racial slur or sexual reference(obviously i didn't drink enough).  Well after I pick up (let's call him Shitface McWasted) S.M. we will begin to start the very important business of preparing the music for the Lazybones All Star show Fri March 27th.  Ja (aka Hot Sauce) will be abusing the fine people of Mexico for a week, so we have to make it without him.  Hopefully he takes in a donkey show or two,  I hear it's some sort of interpretive dance routine on ice.  I mean a donkey on ice skates, who doesn't want to see that!  Also I want to know if there is a scientology rock band? If not I think I may have found our ticket to success.  Tom Cruise I'm talking to you.  You and Katie need a band to play for birthday partys and spaceship christenings?  We can make it happen!  I will have more(much more) for ya in the future.  Peace and love and hail Zeenu!!!!!
